2 days watching sea turtles laying eggs on Tre Lon island


Tre Lon island located in the West of Con Son Island, comprises of two smaller islands which are connected by a sand bank. Forest in Tre Lon island is house of different creatures such as python, monitor lizard, monkey, and especially White Culvers, a rare bird species of pigeon family.

DAY 12.00 p.m: Pick-up from hotel. We will go through a trail of tropical rainforest to Ong Dung cave mouth. From there we will continue with a hiking trip of 7.5km to Ong Dung beach, through an ecological trail where you would be able to observe wildlife and nature’s beauty of island.

From Ong Dung beach you will continue the journey by boat to Tre Lon (big) island and enjoy the beauty scenic of Ong Dung beach, Tre Nho (small) island and Ong Cau area.

 3.30 p.m: Come to Tre Lon Island after 30 minutes by speedboat


  • Snorkel & explore the coral reefs and marine eco-system.
  • Go sight-seeing and find out eco-system of Con Dao forest
  • Have dinner at Tre Lon Ranger Station
 7.00 p.m: After dinner,


  • Study ecological characteristics of sea turtles, conservation work of Con Dao National Park
  • Learn regulations, approaching method to watch turtles laying their eggs
  • Wait mother turtles nesting and laying their eggs during high tide at night
 DAY 26.00 a.m: Releasing baby turtles (private registration) into the sea and returning the center of Con Dao town.

7.00 a.m: Come back Ong Dung beach, then back to your hotel, finishing the tour
